Grey ES on Morena Skin

I was very hesitant at first to try grey because I was told how it won’t look great on my deep warm skin tone. But hey, there’s no harm in giving something a try, right? So, I did a test one day. I used the grey e/s on my scheduled job offer. Yes, I got the job I applied for in my recent office OOTD! Then, I did the grey e/s another try the next day, on our Alumni Homecoming and another try the next -- our Sunday Service and again another, a day after that -- my dinner date with friends. I sure enjoyed the supposed-to- be trials that ended up as new EOTDs. J

Will be showing off some of the photos I took while doing the “trials”. Please let me know me if I was able to pull off the grey e/s pretty well, okay?

By the way, there are so many shades of grey, so I chose to use the less shimmery and less frosty ones. I chose mid-tone grays and two darker shades for the outer-V for my medium warm skin tone. I also used white for highlighting the inner corners and the brow bones.

Lighter Grey EOTD

What I used:

I think this lighter shade doesn't work great on me but the mid-tones did though! :D

Midtone Grey EOTD

What I used:

I used Ellana's Dream for Highlighting because I find it easier to blend on my skin.

I would therefore conclude that grey colors can be pulled off by morena women, we just have to choose the shade that's nearest our skin color, mid-tone for medium skin tones that is.

Tips:

• Don't use super shimmery greys if you're morena. Shimmers won't work great on our skin.
• Choose MID-TONE greys
• Blend and contour the grey with browns to make the color blend well with your skin

My Bikini Body Inspiration

I saw this celebrity's story covered in one of the shows in the television. I just actually passed through that cable channel and the story instantly caught my attention seeing how great her body looks at 50! I heard this celebrity mom used a Jenny something-something's diet so I searched the internet for a celebrity named Jenny (cause I first thought that Jenny was that 50-year-old celebrity). I just got everything mixed up since I didn't really watched the whole show.

After searching the net, I discovered that the woman I saw on TV was Valerie Bertinelli and she was using Jenny Craig's diet. hehehe

This is my inspiration in achieving the bikini body I want for Bora. :)

Isn't she gorgeous? I can't believe she was able to get that beautiful bikini body at 50! How I envy her. :)

Who's your celebrity look-alike? :)

Hi girls! Who do people say is your celebrity look-alike? People sometimes tell us that we look like a known local or Hollywood celebrity and we may take it as a compliment or as a criticism, either way, since we all have unique faces, we still can't say that we really look like anybody else unless that somebody is our twin. hehe :)

A well-respected elder in our church told me that I remind her of J-Lo and did I take it as a compliment or as a criticism? Of course, I took it as a compliment but, more of a joke. (lol) Jennifer Lopez, to me, is a very glam and gorgeous lady. She's actually my idol and to be compared to her is like a joke to me. I tried finding a photo of her that might look like me but, even her worst photos didn't a bit look like my best. LOL

Like what my spiritual dad says, JUST say "THANK YOU" when someone gives you a compliment, may it be true or not. LOL

Another is Tyra Banks. Yes, we have the same color, and body type but I also can't see how I look like her. For me she's way prettier. She's a supermodel and I'm not! But, I also believe I am pretty in my own unique way. :)
