Makeup Schools in the Phil.

I've always wanted to take up makeup artistry in a very good makeup school here in the Philippines. I've actually spent most of my time online researching and reading experiences and reviews about different makeup schools and courses. I've read posts from famous makeup bloggers, Shen and Nikki Tiu, about their experiences in makeup school and they surely inspire me more to pursue taking up the course myself...

I haven't enrolled myself in a makeup school yet but, I have already attended a one-day workshop on make-up artistry just this year. The workshop was fun but was not really as educating as I expected it to be. It became just a mere one-on-one make-over with unlimited  makeup testers. That's why I still wanted to take up an extensive course about it.

So, here's an unarranged list of good makeup schools where we can enroll here in the Philippines...

1. Make-up Designory Manila

The MUD Beauty and Bridal Make-up is worth P 42,000 (inclusive of all MUD makeups needed for the course which you get to take home after)

Temptu Air Brush Make-Up Class is 12,000. The Temptu Air Brush set is 33,600. If you buy the set, you can get P6,000 off your Air Brush Make-Up Class.

MUD Certified Diploma Course. The course will let you know the basic as well as the advanced. This is P196,000 for 140 hours.

They also conduct the following short courses:

  1. Bridal Make-up P24,000
  2. Avant-Garde Make-up P24,000
  3. Fashion Photography + High Definition Make-up P42,000
  4. Fundamentals of Make-Up Artistry (Day, Night, Smokey Eyes and Personal Make-up) P42,000

4. HD Makeup Studio and Academy

Of all the makeup schools, I like to try out this one the most! The P18,500 tuition fee includes model and photographer but not makeups. The good thing is, students may purchase HD studio makeups at prices lower than the SRPs.

  5. you can also include in the list Makeup Design Academy in Quezon City, fronting ABS-CBN. I took the basic course there a year ago and might also enroll in their airbrush course. I've heard they opened a branch in Robinsons Galleria, which is near to my place
